1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data FeedMyTrip collects when you use our platform, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights around it. It applies to the FeedMyTrip web application and related services.
2. What we collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, gender, and date of birth. This is used to create and manage your account.
Profile information
Your username, profile photo, travel style, bio, and profile gallery are stored as part of your public profile. What you choose to make visible is up to you.
Trip and planning data
Trips you create — including destinations, dates, itineraries, budgets, and packing lists — are stored on our servers. This data is private to you unless you explicitly share a trip or post it to the social feed.
Social content
Posts, comments, stories, and likes you create are stored and, depending on your visibility settings, shown to other logged-in users or your followers.
Usage data
We collect standard usage data including which pages you visit, what you search for, and general interaction patterns. This helps us improve the product. We do not sell this data.
3. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide and operate the FeedMyTrip platform
- Personalise your feed, suggestions, and discovery results
- Enable AI-assisted trip planning features
- Send essential account and platform communications
- Detect and prevent abuse, spam, and policy violations
- Improve the product based on how people actually use it
We don't use your data to run third-party advertising or sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored using Supabase, a managed database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We use access controls to limit who on the team can access user data. Despite these precautions, no system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
5. Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the platform, including Supabase for database and auth, Cloudflare for security and CDN, and AI providers for itinerary generation. These providers have their own privacy policies and access only the data needed to provide their service.
We don't share your personal data with travel agents or other third parties without your explicit involvement — for example, when you send an enquiry to an agent via the platform.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information on your profile
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Object to how we process your data in certain circumstances

7. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We also use cookies for basic analytics to understand how the platform is being used. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising.
8. Children
FeedMyTrip is intended for users aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have data from a minor, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform grows. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
